Here’s a quick interview about design inspiration with Fabio Sasso. Fabio’s a Brazilian graphic/web designer & blogger for the popular website Abduzeedo.
So who are you & what do you do?
“i’m Fabio Sasso and I’m graphic designer and run a blog called Abduzeedo where I share my graphic experience and inspiration everyday.”
So what inspires you?
“Well it depends. Like For my personal projects and for Abduzeedo, my inspiration is from the 80’s. And all the light effects, glows. And of course the Brazilian culture: colorful, water color effects. It’s pretty much like that.”
So do you have any particular websites you visit everyday for inspiration?
“I like ffffound.com and then I subscribe to tons of blogs and sites like http://designyoutrust.com http://behance.net, http://www.flickr.com
Blogs like James White Signal Noise ArtMy google reader, my rss reader is full of feeds so i go through that every day. It’s quite crazy.”
Well very cool! Thank you for talking with us!
“Thank you very much it’s a pleasure“
Special thanks to Nick Pettit for allowing me to film ‘The Making of” version of the interview! Nick is the co-founder & lead designer of of Done21, a Florida-based web application company. His new internet show, DocType, debuts next month.
The interview took place during the first Annual Front-End Design Conference. The event was put together by the talented Dan Denney. He’s also now the Director of Community & Events for the Fuel Brand Group

Funny seeing me interview someone else!
As far as I know, we haven't actually announced a release date for http://doctype.tv/ but next month is a pretty good guess.
